ORT is one of the largest non-governmental education and training organisations in the world, operating in more than 50 countries and training more than 290,000 students each year. Founded in Russia in 1880, ORT works primarily - but not exclusively - among Jewish communities. (Click here to visit the main World ORT website)

The World ORT Archive Programme is an important initative begun during 2000 - ORT's 120th anniversary year. It seeks to preserve ORT's documentary heritage and make it more easily accessible. This website will become the archive's portal.
